General Information
A practical overview of how AutoBid auctions work, what buyers should expect, and how listings, fees, and delivery coordination are handled.
Auction Basics
How do AutoBid auctions work?
Each active listing runs until its scheduled closing time. Buyers place visible bids, the current price updates in real time, and the highest valid bid at close wins unless a Buy Now option ends the listing sooner.
Are bids hidden or visible?
AutoBid uses visible bidding. Buyers can see the current price and recent bid history on each listing, which keeps the process transparent and easier to follow.
What does Buy Now mean?
When a listing includes a Buy Now price, a buyer can choose it instead of waiting for the auction to end. Once that price is taken, the listing is marked as sold immediately.
How long do auctions usually run?
Your site is currently configured with a default auction duration of 7 days. Individual listings may still close sooner or later depending on how they are set up.
Accounts, Bids, and Fees
Do I need an account to bid?
Yes. Buyers must be signed in before placing bids or using Buy Now. This helps keep bidding tied to a real account and supports follow-up after an auction ends.
What is the current minimum bid increment?
The current bid logic requires the next bid to exceed the active price by at least $100. If the current price changes, the minimum valid next bid changes with it.
What buyer fee applies to a winning purchase?
Your current site setting shows a buyer commission rate of 5%. Shipping, title, tax, registration, and local jurisdiction costs may still apply separately depending on the transaction.
Can I cancel a bid once it is placed?
Bids should be treated as serious offers. If a mistake happens, the buyer should contact support immediately so the situation can be reviewed as quickly as possible.
Trust, Listings, and Delivery
How are listings reviewed before going live?
Listings are reviewed for completeness before publication. Buyers are encouraged to read the full description, inspect the specification block, and review gallery images and bid history before bidding.
Can I track delivery after I buy?
Yes. When a delivery record is created, buyers receive a tracking code that can be entered on the public tracking page. Status updates and map-based progress are available there.
Can I inspect inventory in person?
Not every vehicle or asset is stored in one public showroom. Availability for inspection depends on the seller, the vehicle location, and the logistics arranged for that specific listing.
What happens after an auction closes?
The winning buyer is confirmed, the listing closes, and the next steps move into post-sale coordination. That typically includes payment follow-up, release paperwork, and delivery scheduling when requested.
