How to Bid
A step-by-step guide to following listings, placing valid bids, understanding Buy Now, and preparing for what happens after you win.
Create or sign in to your account
Bidding requires an active account. Registration is free, and signing in lets the platform associate bids, watchlists, and post-sale follow-up with the correct user.
Review the listing carefully
Open the listing page and check the photo gallery, specification blocks, description, current bid, bid history, and closing time before committing to a bid.
Decide your bid strategy
The next valid bid must currently be at least $100 above the active price. Also factor in the current 5% buyer commission and any shipping or title-related costs.
Place a bid or use Buy Now
Enter a valid bid amount and submit it from the listing page. If the listing has a Buy Now option and you choose it, the listing closes immediately as sold.
Follow the auction until close
Most listings default to 7 days, but always rely on the actual countdown shown on the page. If you are outbid, you can place a new higher bid before the auction ends.
Complete post-sale coordination
When you win, the sale moves into confirmation, payment follow-up, release paperwork, and optional delivery scheduling. If transport is created, you’ll receive a tracking code by email.

Quick Tip
Watch the listing before you bid.
If you’re not ready to bid yet, save the vehicle to your watchlist first. That gives you a simple way to come back, compare listings, and decide when to enter the auction.
